Austin Energy E-Bike Rebate Guide

Austin Energy offers up to $600 back when you buy any e-bike from ZUMI. Here’s how to claim it — it only takes a few minutes.


Step 1 — Check Eligibility

  • You must be an Austin Energy customer.
  • The rebate applies to new e-bikes only (sorry, no resales or used bikes).
  • The name and address on your rebate form must match your Austin Energy account.
⚠️ Note: You must claim your rebate within 60 days from the date of purchase.


Step 2 — Gather Your Documents

All documents will be submitted online. You’ll need:

  • A copy of your Zumi receipt (PDF or screenshot from your order confirmation email)
  • Your bike model’s spec sheet (download below):
  • Your Austin Energy account number (found on your utility bill)

Step 3 — Apply Online

Go to: 👉 Austin Energy E-Bike Rebate Portal

  1. Click “How to Apply” → then click “Apply Online.”
  2. Check the “Electric Account Holder” box → Enter your Account Number, house number, and ZIP code → Click “Next.”


Step 4 — Continue Your Online Application

  • Enter your personal information and click “Next.” Select the “Applicant” box and click “Next.”
  • Click the “+” button and add the number of bikes you’re requesting a rebate for, then click “OK.”
  • Fill out the form:
    • Quantity: 1 (repeat these steps if applying for multiple bikes)
    • Cost: Include the total of the bike plus tax (do not include accessories)
    • Type: E-Bike: Two-Wheel
    • Manufacturer: ZUMI BIKE
    • Model: As shown on your invoice (e.g., Classic ST, Blade 1000W, Sprint ST 1000W)
    • VIN: Located on your bike frame or barcode sticker under the bottom bracket
    • Dealership: ZUMI BIKE
  • At the bottom of the page, you’ll see the rebate amount you qualify for.
  • Press the blue “+” button to add more bikes if needed, then click “Next.”


Step 5 — Complete Your Online Application

  • Upload your invoice and spec sheet(s).
  • Agree to the Terms & Conditions → Click “Next.”
  • Review your information → Click “Submit.”
💡 Tip: Save or write down your Confirmation Number for future reference.


Step 6 — Get Paid

Rebates are typically processed within 4–6 weeks.

You’ll receive your rebate check directly from Austin Energy — up to $600 per e-bike.
